My time locked up has taught me lots, but the greatest lesson is that simple is beautiful. Happiness isn’t about material possessions, or drugs, or money, or even love. It’s about self acceptance and inner peace. Free yourself from materialism and learn to accept who and what you are, because the happiness you’re pursuing can only come from inside.
So yeah, people are living their lives the way they want, rather than how ads dictate. I’ve been thinking that way for ages, but lacked consistency in my approach. I didn’t realize how many people in the world think the same way.
I’m quite happy anyway though, coz finally I understand precisely where I’m going. I have a plan to stop working at some point in the future. I’m working on a plan to make this come true.
